The invention provides a quasi molecule lamp capable of preventing the reflection membrane formation starting area of the ultraviolet ray reflection membrane from peeling off from the discharge container, and holding the radiation light amount of the quasi molecule light for a long time. The quasi molecule lamp (10) has a capacitor (11) composed of silica glass with a discharging space (S); a pair of electrodes (15, 16) are disposed under the state that the silica glass for composing the capacitor (11) is disposed; xenon gas is enclosed in the discharging space (S) in which quasi molecule discharging occurs; an ultraviolet ray reflection membrane (18) composed by silica particles and alumina particles is formed on the surface exposed in the discharging space of the capacitor (11); and the ultraviolet ray reflection membrane (18) is thinner at the ray reflection membrane starting area than other areas. |
