<p>PURPOSE: A cokes wet quencher is provided to store chemical energy to which waste heat is changed by reacting the water heat of red-heat cokes stored in a quenching trolley with oxidizing agent. CONSTITUTION: A cokes wet quencher comprises a quenching tower, a cover(260), an oxidizing agent supplying unit(270), and a recovered gas storing unit(280). A quenching trolley(150) loading read-heat cokes enters into the quenching tower. The cover ascends and descends in the quenching tower and covers the top of the quenching trolley. The oxidizing agent supplying unit and the recovered gas storing unit are respectively connected to the cover. The oxidizing agent supplying unit supplies oxidizing agent into the quenching trolley closing with the cover. The recovered gas storing unit collects and stores gas generated by the reaction of the red-heat cokes and the oxidizing agent.</p> |
