<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a blended coal to be charged to a coke oven to improve coke strength. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the blended coal to be charged to the coke oven includes classifying coals in a plurality of brands to be used as original coals for coke by using a boundary value of 5-7 vol.% of the content of coarse inert structure into a highly inert structure-containing coal having the content higher than the boundary value, and a low-inert and low-coalification degree coal having the content of the coarse inert structure lower than the boundary value and an average vitrinite reflectance of ≤0.9%, and producing a blended coal by blending each pulverized products. The method includes a first step of strongly pulverizing the highly inert structure-containing coal so that the cumulative% of grains having a particle diameter of ≤3 mm may be ≥90 mass%, and a second step of pulverizing the low-inert and low-coalification degree coal so that when the whole expansion coefficient of the whole blended coal is <40%, the low-inert and low-coalification degree coal having a whole expansion coefficient of ≥20% may be pulverized so that the cumulative% of the grains having a particle diameter of ≤3 mm may be 82-88 mass%, and the low-inert and low-coalification degree coal having a whole expansion coefficient of <20% may be pulverized so that the cumulative% of the grains having a particle diameter of ≤3 mm may be 72-78 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
