<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably stack a sheet on a specific position even if a Z-folded sheet is conveyed without deteriorating productivity or adding an operation mechanism for dealing with the Z-folded sheet. <P>SOLUTION: When a return roller returns the Z-folded sheet conveyed on a staple tray to an alignment position, if a distance from a rear end to an inward folded portion in the Z-folded sheet is longer than a distance from paired conveyance roller to a sheet ejection port, the inward folded portion of the Z-folded sheet is located outside the sheet ejection port. Accordingly, when the return roller returns the sheet, in order to prevent the inward folded portion of the Z-folded sheet from striking an end fence, an ejection claw located on an endless belt is made to be stand by near the sheet ejection port in the middle portion where the operation of the ejection claw is switched from on an upper surface into on a lower surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
