<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoaming device and method of used discharge seawater capable of efficiently removing foam entrained by the used discharged seawater, and a discharge system of used discharged seawater. <P>SOLUTION: The defoaming device of used discharged seawater includes: a floating weir 14 that is provided for a drain 12 for discharging the used discharged seawater 11 to the ocean, and shuts out a flow of the discharged seawater 11 entraining foam 13 near the surface; a defoaming water channel 15 that temporarily stores derived seawater 11a derived from the drain 12 by the floating weir 14, and defoams the entrained foam 13; an agitator 16 that agitates the discharged seawater 11 introduced into the defoaming water channel 15; and a chemical agent supply means 18 that supplies a chemical agent 17 (e.g., a sodium hypochlorite and the like) to the discharge seawater 11 agitated by the agitator 16 to sterilize microorganisms in the seawater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
