The invention relates to a structure comprising a support (14) provided with means (16) for guiding the mast (12) in a hoisting direction (Z), and a wall (32) extending in said direction (Z), and defining a space (33) for receiving the mast (12). The guiding means (16) comprise two guiding rails (18) carried by the support, and two complementary guiding elements (20) carried by the mast (12) and each cooperating with a respective rail (18). Each rail (18) forms abutments (18A) immobilising the associated guiding element (20) in a second direction (Y) perpendicular to said hoisting direction (Z) and to the wall (32). The guiding means (16) comprise another guiding rail (18) carried by the support (14), and another complementary guiding element (20) carried by the mast (12) and cooperating with said other rail (18). Said other rail (18) forms abutments (18A) immobilising said other guiding element (20) in a third direction (X) perpendicular to said hoisting direction (Z) and to the second direction (Y). The housing space (33) is open in substantially any plane perpendicular to said hoisting direction (Z).
