METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF CALCIUM CARBONATE WITH FLY ASH AND CARBON DIOXIDE MICRO-BUBBLE

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of calcium carbonate using fly ash and micro-bubbles is provided to precipitate high purity calcium carbonate in short time by using the fly ash. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of calcium carbonate using fly ash comprises the following steps: controlling the pH of a reaction solution as 9.7 or higher by adding an alkali solution in which a calcium ion is existed; and inducing the precipitation reaction between carbonate ions and calcium among the reaction solution. A manufacturing method of a solution containing water comprises the following steps: diluting flue-gas desulfurization gypsum with water, and settling the diluted solution; and separating supernatant from the precipitated solid material.
