<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide agents that are inhibitors or activators of variant forms of endogenous proteins and new methods of identifying such variants. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a group of agents that are inhibitors or activators of variant forms of endogenous proteins and methods of identifying such variants.
