<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability in setting time zones of operation modes in a printing device. <P>SOLUTION: The printing device includes a display and is operable in a normal mode and a power-saving mode. The printing device displays, on the display, a first circular region where a prohibited time zone region indicating a prohibited time zone for prohibiting a transition from the normal mode to the power-saving mode, and a permitted time zone region indicating a permitted time zone for permitting the transition from the normal mode to the power-saving mode are circularly continued.
