<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thinner mobile phone for which an operation part side housing is attached to a display part side housing slidably through a slide unit interposed between them. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit board provided inside a display part side housing 1 and a circuit board provided inside an operation part side housing 11 are electrically connected through a flexible wiring board 21 provided between both housings 1 and 12. The slide unit includes a base sheet metal 32 provided on an upper surface of the display part side housing 1, a rail sheet metal 33 provided on an upper surface of the base sheet metal 32, and a slider sheet metal provided on a lower surface of the operation part side housing 11 and slidably attached to the rail sheet metal 33. The rail sheet metal 33 is provided with a through-hole 37 for flexible wiring board relief.
