<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for machining while avoiding interference. <P>SOLUTION: A cutting route creation apparatus 10 is applied to a machine tool which machines a work by repeating a machining step of machining a work by using a cutter and a step of moving the cutter to a machining starting position after the end of machining. The cutting route creation apparatus 10 comprises: a cutter position estimation section 21 which estimates a position of cutter form data indicating a form of the cutter during the machining step on a work coordinate system with a position of the work as a criterion; a work form updating section 22 in which, if there is an intersection between the estimated cutter form data and work form data indicating a form of the work, on the basis of information about the intersection, the work form data after the end of the machining step are updated as new work form data; and an interference determination section 23 in which, when moving the cutter to the next machining starting position, a possibility of interference is determined between the new work form data updated by the work form updating section 22 and the cutter form data during the movement on the work coordinate system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
