<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of achieving energy-saving in defrosting operation to melt down a frost attached to a cooler. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator 10 includes: a compressor 56; a condenser 58; a throttling mechanism 62 for refrigeration; a cooler 52 for refrigeration, cooling a refrigeration space 20 connected to the throttling mechanism 62 for refrigeration; a throttling mechanism 64 for the freezing; a cooler 53 for freezing, cooling a freezing space 40 connected to the throttling mechanism 64 for the freezing; and a switching valve 60 flowing a cooling medium switchingly to the cooler 52 for refrigeration, and to the cooler 53 for freezing. A switching mechanism 70 is provided which sequentially flows the cooling medium discharged from the compressor 56 in the defrosting operation of the cooler 53 for freezing, to the cooler 53 for freezing, the throttling mechanism 64, the switching valve 60, the throttling mechanism 62 for refrigeration, and the cooler 52 for refrigeration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
