<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy manufacture of an airbag having a cavity. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for the airbag includes (a) a step of preparing a plurality of base cloths 50 each having a main panel section 52 making up a main bag expandable/deployable into a bag shape toward an occupant and a sub panel section 54 formed to partially extend out of the outer periphery of the main panel section 52 and making up the sub bag section sinking from the main bag section 32 toward inside the same, (b) a step of joining together the peripheries of the plurality of base cloths 50 to form the main bag section and the sub bag section, (c) a step of connecting the sub bag section to a part of the main bag that is placed inside the main bag expandable/deployable into a bag shape, and (d) a step of reversing the main bag section so that the sub bag section is placed inside the main bag section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
