<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for assistance, for facilitating the work of transferring a person to be cared from the seat of an automobile to the wheelchair for assistance. <P>SOLUTION: The wheelchair for assistance includes: a traveling vehicle body having a pair of left and right front wheels provided to both sides of the front part of a vehicle body frame and a pair of left and right rear wheels provided to both sides of the rear part of the vehicle body frame; a seat part disposed roughly horizontally with respect to a floor surface; a backrest part provided on the rear part of the seat part and connected so as to be tiltable from a position erected roughly at a right angle with respect to the seat part to a position forming nearly the same plane; and a slide seat arranged on the seat part. The slide seat is slidable in the front-back direction of the traveling vehicle body from a position on the seat part to a position on the backrest part in the state of tilting the backrest part to the position forming nearly the same plane as the seat part and turning it to a stretcher shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
