Advertisements may be selected for display by a device, such as the MADD or an advertising server, based on one or more of the MADD's geographic location, the time of day, or various types of user data from nearby mobile devices. Further aspects include systems and methods of responding to requests from mobile device users and assigning expenses based on user activities.
