METHOD FOR TRACKING TARGET USING INTENSITY ORDER RELATION

PURPOSE: A method for tracking a target using a brightness order relationship is provided to accurately trace a target by using the brightness order relationship between feature points and a model based on the same. CONSTITUTION: In case an input image is a first frame, a target tracking unit extracts a target model from the input image(S120,S130). If the input image is not the first frame, the target tracking unit extracts a target candidate model from the input image(S140). The target tracking unit calculates the similarity of brightness values of each coordinate between the extracted target model and the target candidate model(S150). The target tracking unit determines the location of a target(S160). The target tracking unit renews the target model(S170).
