<p>The device has a sealing element (16) comprising a soluble liquid sealing component that is pushed back into an inner conductor of an electric cable (11) during crimping operation by capillary effect, for forming a sealing and insulation connection with the conductor. The conductor is in the form of a strand surrounded by an insulating sheath (13). The sealing element is applied on the conductor for elastically cooperating with a partial segment (17) on the sheath and with another partial segment (18) in an end zone (14) of the conductor.</p> |
