<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber capable of correcting desynchronization while making it possible to use a low cost small sized motor and capable of enhancing attenuation force adjusting width. <P>SOLUTION: In the shock absorber 1 having: a shock absorber body D having a cylinder 2 and a piston 3 slidably inserted into the cylinder 2 and partitioning the inside of the cylinder 2 into a pressing side chamber R2 and an extending side chamber R1: and an attenuation force adjusting mechanism V having a flow passage 5 allowing the passing of fluid in only one of an extending time and a contracting time of the shock absorber body D, a valve seat 6 arranged in the middle of the flow passage 5, a valve body 7 capable of advancing and retracting to the valve seat 6, and a motor 8 for adjusting a flow passage area by driving the valve body 7 and making the same advance and retract to the valve seat 6, a desynchronization section where there is possibility of desynchronization of a stepping motor 8 if further moving the valve body 7 toward the valve seat 6 is defined, the stepping motor 8 is energized so as to move the valve body 7 two times or more of a distance to a sitting position in the desynchronization section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
