<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make powdery cosmetics effectively contain ectoine being a cyclic amino acid derivative, and to impart an excellent skin barrier function effect to the powdery cosmetics. <P>SOLUTION: This problem is solved by the powdery cosmetics which are characterized by containing complex powder produced by coating plate-shaped powder with the ectoine being the cyclic amino acid derivative. Furthermore, it is preferable that the ectoine is an (S)-1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2-methyl-4-pyrimidinecarboxylic acid, or an (S, S)-1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-5-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrimidinecarboxylic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
