<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a controlled apparatus from restarting by mistake and enable restart control of the controlled apparatus in a system for controlling the controlled apparatus through an optical signal. <P>SOLUTION: An optical module 1 includes: a DC LOS detection unit 3 for detecting an output level of an optical signal detected by a PD/TIA 2 and, when the output level is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, outputting an optical tomography detection signal that shows an optical tomography state; an AC LOS detection unit 4 for detecting a state of modulation of an optical signal and, when an amplifier in the modulation is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, outputting a non-modulation detection signal that shows a non-modulation state; and a restart signal generation unit 5 for, in a time when an output tomography detection signal does not show an optical tomography state, outputting a restart signal for restarting the controlled apparatus, when a non-modulation state of the non-modulation detection signal appears in a predetermined pattern that is previously set. A restart signal is prevented from being erroneously output, because there is a condition for outputting a restart signal so as not to be output in an optical tomography state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
