[Solution] Provided is an absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable top sheet disposed on a skin-contacting surface side, a back sheet disposed on a non-skin-contacting surface side, and an absorber interposed between the two sheets, wherein the top sheet is made from a nonwoven fabric, and the absorber has an absorbent core and a coating sheet that coats the core. A plurality of back surface concave portions that cave in toward the skin-contacting surface side are distributed adjacent to one another on the non-skin-contacting surface side of the top sheet, the coating sheet extends into the back surface concave portions, and there is a space portion between the coating sheet that extends into the concave portions and the absorbent core. |
