PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to improve the performance of compressor by selecting appropriately the diameter of the suction passage. CONSTITUTION: The swash plate type compressor(10) comprises the front head(11), the rear head(28), cylinder blocks(12,12'), the rotary shaft(24), a plurality of pistons(30). The front head and rear head comprise ejection rooms(11a,28a). The front head and rear head are behind combined with the front of the cylinder block. The cylinder block comprises a plurality of cylinder bores(12a) and the suction passage(13') having opening. The rotary shaft is pivotally installed through the front head and cylinder block. The flow path(24') is formed inside the rotary shaft. |
