<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue capable of smoothly sliding relative to a seatbelt in a normal time, and capable of preventing a lap belt from being elongated in an emergency. <P>SOLUTION: A seatbelt slide part 17 has a predetermined number of protrusions 25a, 25b, 25c, 25d provided within first and second recesses. The first protrusion 25a has a shoulder belt-side end surface 25a<SB POS="POST">1</SB>which is formed as a flat surface or a substantially flat surface; a lap belt-side end surface 25a<SB POS="POST">2</SB>which is formed as a flat surface or a substantially flat surface; and a front end 25a<SB POS="POST">3</SB>which is formed in a circular arc shape. The angle θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>formed between the shoulder belt-side end surface 25a<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and an imaginary straight line 27 connecting the front-most end of the protrusion 25a and the center 26 of the circular arcs of the outer peripheral surfaces 21 of the recesses is less than the angle θ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>formed between the imaginary straight line 27 and the lap belt-side end surface 25a<SB POS="POST">2</SB>.
