<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die inspection mechanism for a press machine, inspecting interference between press members of an upper die and press members of a lower die used in the press machine even without using a signal of the press machine. <P>SOLUTION: A control means 20 of this die inspection mechanism 2 performs, when the interval between upper pins 12 and lower pins 14 is at an initial interval, operation to operate a carrying means 21 of the die inspection mechanism 2 to set a coloring member 3 between the upper pins 12 and the lower pins 14, when receiving an instruction to inspect the interference between the upper pins 12 and the lower pins 14 (S1), to lower the upper die 11 until the interval between the upper pins 12 and the lower pins 14 becomes slightly smaller than the thickness t of the coloring member 3 and an inspection interval d wherein the upper pins 12 and the lower pins 14 do not abut on each other (S2), thereafter to lift the upper die 11 of the press machine 1 until the interval between the upper pins 12 and the lower pins 14 becomes an initial interval (S3), and to operate the carrying means 21 of the die inspection mechanism 2 to take out the coloring member 3 from between the upper pins 12 and the lower pins 14 of the press machine 1 (S4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
