<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving machine capable of elongating a service life of a bumper by buffering a shock when a piston abuts on the bumper. <P>SOLUTION: This nailing machine 1 includes: a housing 2; a cylinder 3 stored in the housing 2; a drive blade 41 partially stored in the housing 2 and hitting a nail; the bumper 6 stored in the housing 2 and formed with a through hole 6a penetrated with the driver blade 41; and the piston 4 slidably stored in the cylinder 3 supporting the driver blade 41 capable of abutting on the bumper 6, and including a small-diameter part 45 capable of being inserted into the through hole 6a.
