A method for standardization of sandy everlasting flowers (Helichrysum arenarium L.) in multicomponent herbal blends is performed using HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography). The presence and content of everlasting flowers sand in plant blends containing everlasting flower sand, prickly hawthorn, marshmallow root, licorice root, wild chicory root, dandelion root, hops cones, nettle herb motherwort, hawthorn leaf and flower, St. John's wort grass and flax seeds is determined by preparing plant blend and its purification. Then the chromatography is performed in gradient mode using aqueous mobile phases and acetonitrile reverse-phase column by presence and content of apigenin, the content of which shall not be less than 0.12%, calculated based on the dried materials. |
