摘要 PURPOSE: A method for enhancing thermal stability or acid resistance of microorganism and variant homoserine o-succinyltransferase(MetA) are provided to improve stability to high temperature and/or acidic condition. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling thermal stability or acid resistance of microorganism comprises: a step of enforcing the replacement variation of a homoserine o-succinyltransferase (MetA)-coding nucleotide sequence; and a step of transforming the MetA-coding sequence into microbial cells. The replacement variation reduces thermal stability or acid resistance of microorganism. MetA is originated from mesophile bacteria. The mesophile bacteria are escherichia, pseudomonas, xanthomonas, serratia, lactobacillus, bacillus, citrobacter, salmonella or Klebsiella.
