<p>A blade for a wind generator set, comprising a blade root segment (6), a blade tip segment (5), and a bridge piece connecting the blade root segment (6) and the blade tip segment (5) and with a strength less than that of the two segments. When the blade of the wind generator set is subjected to gusts of strong wind, such as a typhoon, etc., if the load on the bridge piece exceeds what the piece can withstand, the bridge piece will break up so as to make the blade tip segment fall off. The blade tip segment falling off reduces the diameter of the whole blade of the wind generator set and reduces the swept area of the wind wheel, thus reducing the flexural load exerted on the tower frame and the base by the whole blade. In a very windy environment, such as in a typhoon, etc., the blade of the wind generator set protects the tower frame and the base, reducing loss to the whole of the wind generator set. Also provided in this invention is a wind generator set.</p> |
