PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for stable information transmission.

SOLUTION: An information transmission system (1) includes light-emitting means (2) for lighting up a prescribed region (5) and transmitting information, and light-receiving means (3) for taking an image of the prescribed region in a time-series manner, decrypting the information from the image, and outputting the information. The prescribed region is made multivalued (at least a ternary) according to the information and emits color-modulated light. The light-receiving means decrypts the information on the basis of multivalued color modulation information in the prescribed region.
