<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry reagent capable of amplifying a nucleic acid even after being stored in a dry state at room temperature, a dry reagent kit, a reagent container, and a method for producing the dry reagent. <P>SOLUTION: The dry reagent containing a nucleic acid monomer and Mg<SP POS="POST">2+</SP>in which the molar ratio between the nucleic acid monomer and the Mg<SP POS="POST">2+</SP>is from 1 : 0.03 to 1 : 100 is used for amplifying a nucleic acid. A nucleic acid can be amplified using this dry reagent even when the dry reagent is stored at room temperature, for example. The dry reagent may further contain K<SP POS="POST">+</SP>, for example. With this configuration, it is possible to further improve the stability of the reagent. Also, the stability of the dry reagent can be improved, for example, by setting the content of Tris in the reagent to be equal to or lower than a certain level or by not adding Tris. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
