<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with a service cooperating with a video content, without increase in the size of meta data to be added to the video content. <P>SOLUTION: A video cooperation service providing system 1 comprises a video reproduction apparatus 10 and an application server 20. A transmission part 13 of the video reproduction apparatus 10 transmits, to the application server 20, meta data added to a video content reproduced by a reproduction part 12.
