<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional antibacterial unit which flows drain water backward that dust and bacteria in the drain water attach an antibacterial agent itself as well, which causes the generation of a biofilm and slime on a surface of the antibacterial agent, resulting in decrease of the antibacterial action. <P>SOLUTION: A solid antibacterial agent 74 whose specific gravity is lighter than that of water is enclosed in drain piping 7 that is a route for discharging the drain water 4, and an antibacterial unit 72 is provided in which the drain water 4 can pass in a vertical direction so that the drain water 4 flows from an upper part of the antibacterial unit 72 to a lower part when the drain pump 6 stops. The lowering of a water level on this occasion is accompanied a collision between the solid antibacterial agents 74, which can remove the bacteria attaching the solid antibacterial agent 74 surfaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
