<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured hinge device for a door in which an opened door does not interfere a neighboring housing and is prevented from disturbing take-in/take-out operation of an internal object. <P>SOLUTION: A hinge device 1 comprises: a horizontal base plate 2 fixed to a fixed frame body 52; first and second link plates 3 and 4 pivoted to the base plate 2 with pivoting pins 6 and 7; and a support plate 5 which is pivoted to the link plates 3 and 4 with pivoting pins 8 and 9 and pivots a door 53 with a pivot 54 at the tip side. The support plate 5 is freely oscillated on a horizontal plane while keeping a gap between an original position and a trap position parallel to a front face 52a of the fixed frame body 52 by interlocking with the link plates 3 and 4. In the state where the support plate 5 is at the original position, it is disposed within a vertical projection plane of the door 53 and in the state where the support plate 5 is at the trap position, it is disposed to be trapped forward from the projection plane and to a lateral outer side.
