<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound electronic component in which cracking does not take place in the core even if the temperature environment changes. <P>SOLUTION: The inductor (wound electronic component) 100 comprises a drum-type core 1 having a pair of flanges 1b, 1c formed at both ends of a winding core 1a, a coil 2 wound around the winding core 1a, a resin part 4 formed on at least a part of at least one of the end faces of the flanges 1b, 1c and the surface of a coil 2 wound around the winding core 1a, and a cylindrical core 3 in which a through hole is formed.
