NANOTORI OF SEMICONDUCTOR MATERIAL FOR USE IN DIAGNOSTICS AND IN THE ANTI-TUMOR THERAPY AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF

Nanotori (4a) of semiconductor material are described, useful in the treatment of tumor pathologies, having diameter on the scale of 10 to 102 nm and gyration radius of 1-10µm and bearing on their surface a plurality of functionalizations adapted to prevent the folding of the nanotorus on itself, facilitate the approach to the tumor cells, allow the docking thereof and/or transport molecules provided with anti-tumor activity; a process for the production of such nanotori is also described.
