PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a written program by ensuring soundness of the program written on a write side when writing the same program data in two microcomputers that independently operate. SOLUTION: When writing the same program data in built-in ROMs 4a and 4b of the two microcomputers 3a and 3b, two CPUs 5a and 5b read program data and CRCs stored in external storage devices 8a and 8b, respectively, verify whether there is an error in the read program data, and when there is no error in the read program data, transfer the read program data with no error to the microcomputers 3a and 3b and write them in the built-in ROMs 4a and 4b, by transferring and writing the read program data to and into the built-in ROMs 4a and 4b of the microcomputers 3a and 3b.
