PURPOSE: A heat pump system is provided such that an outdoor heat exchanger smoothly defrosts and cools a heat medium as flow resistance against a heat storage medium is removed. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump system comprises a basic cooling cycle(10), a defrosting unit(20), a defrosting and cooling unit(30), and a function improving unit(40). The defrosting unit a heat medium supply pipe to a return pipe so that a closed circuit is formed. The defrosting and cooling unit is connected to the closed circuit to circulate the heat medium in an auxiliary heat exchanger. The function improving unit is installed between an outdoor heat exchanger and a four way valve. |
