PURPOSE: A system for providing a remote device driver and a method thereof are provided to drive a mobile terminal through a second computer in a remote place without the need to directly install a function driver in a first computer by placing a USB filter driver in the first computer and placing a virtual hub driver and a function driver in the second computer in the remote place. CONSTITUTION: A first device(200) request device information to a terminal connected through a USB to transmit the same through a network. A second device(300) is connected with the first device through the network and stores a driver for the terminal based on the device information provided by the first device. The first device includes a USB filter driver(231) for monitoring the connection of the terminal. If the terminal is connected, the USB filter driver requests the device information to the terminal to receive the device information from the terminal.
