PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing the release of a handle for a diaphragm valve is provided to easily check the safety of the valve that is to be installed within the size of the diaphragm valve. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing the release of a handle for a diaphragm valve comprises a locking bracket(10), a locking pin(20), a handle(30), a spring guide(40), and a spring(50). The locking bracket is fixed on the top of a body part(70) of the diaphragm valve. The locking bracket has a valve opening hole(11) on one side thereof and a valve closing hole(13) on the other side thereof. The locking pin comprises a stopping portion and a spring supporting portion(23) and is received in a locking pin receiving hole of a handle. The spring guide is fixed on the top of the locking pin receiving hole of the handle. One end of the spring is supported on the spring supporting portion of the locking pine and the other end thereof is fixed on the spring guide.
