<p>Method, pad and bearing device for oil redistribution. The bearing device includes a ring 42 having at least one retaining head 65, at least one pad 44 disposed inside the ring 42 and having a bottom recess portion 22 configured to receive the at least one retaining head 65, an oil distribution mechanism 64 configured to inject oil at a leading edge 52a of the at least one pad 44 to flow towards a trailing edge 52b of the at least one pad 44, and an oil redistribution mechanism (56, 80) on the at least one pad 44 configured to redistribute the oil from the trailing edge 52b of the at least one pad 4 to the leading edge 52a of the at least one pad 44. The leading edge 52a is a first edge and the trailing edge 52b is a second edge of the at least one pad 44 encountered when traveling along a circumference of the ring 42 in a direction of rotation 14 of a rotor 60 supported by the at least one pad 44.</p> |
