PURPOSE: A portable lighting device and a method of the same are provided to obtain improved light conversion efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit accumulates electric energy. The power supply unit outputs direct current. A light emitting unit(140) comprises a light emitting device. The light emitting device emits light in a form of either a first pattern or a second pattern. A power management control unit monitors electric energy accumulated in the power supply unit and controls a light emitting device. |
