PURPOSE: An apparatus for changing the transferring direction of raw materials for a belt conveyor is provided to reduce malfunction due to the load of the raw materials as the raw materials are discharged to the side of the belt by erecting an upper discharging part. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for changing the transferring direction of raw materials for a belt conveyor comprises a support frame(110), an upper pulley(120), a lower pulley(130), an upper discharge part(150), a lower discharging part(160), and a rotating unit(200). The support frame is installed at the part of a conveyor(C) where a transfer direction of the raw materials is changed. The upper and lower pulleys are installed in the upper and lower parts of the support frame while surrounding a belt(B). The upper discharge part is arranged to face the upper pulley in a transferring direction of the belt and is rotatably installed on the support frame by a hinge part(140). If the upper discharge part is laid, the upper discharge part guides the raw materials receiving from the upper pulley to the belt through a raw material discharge passage. The support frame is installed in a transverse transferring direction of the belt. When the upper discharge part is erected, the lower discharge part guides the raw materials receiving from the upper pulley to the side of the belt. The rotating unit rotates the upper discharge part to lay or erect the upper discharging part.
