The wound cover (1) has an open-pore foam material body (2) and a tubular- and tube-shaped connecting element (3) with an open section (4) which is fixed in the foam material body and enters in an upper side (8) of the foam material body. The upper side of the foam material body is covered with a plastic film (10) which has an opening (11) for executing the connecting element. The plastic film has an area (14) which is adjacent to the opening for executing the connecting element and is fixed at the upper side of the foam material body.
