Bottle gourds resistant to drought transformed with ABF3 gene and production method thereof

PURPOSE: A drought resistant bottle gourd plant transformed by a recombinant vector containing ABF3 gene derived from Arabidopsis thaliana is provided. CONSTITUTION: A drought resistant bottle gourd plant is prepared by a transforming a bottle gourd plant by a recombinant vector containing ABF3(Abscisic acid responsive elements-binding factor 3) gene. The ABF3 gene has a base sequence of sequence number 1. The recombinant vector is pK2GW7-ABF3 vector. A method for producing the bottle gourd plant comprises: a step of transforming bottle gourd plant cells with the recombinant vector; and a step of redifferentiating a transgenic plant from a transformed bottle gourd plant cell.
