PURPOSE: An auto-closing valve is provided to prevent the waste of water as large amounts of water temporarily flows into a pressure chamber through a pressure releasing valve in an auto-closed state and a main passage. CONSTITUTION: An auto-closing valve comprises an operation unit(50) and an auto-closing unit(30). The operation unit comprises an operating cap(51) and an operating stem(52). The operating cap is coupled to a valve body(10) and is pressed or turned. The operating stem is coupled to the operating cap and operates a second piston(32) to release the pressure of a second pressure chamber(22) of the valve body. When the pressure of the pressure chamber is decreased, a first piston(31) opens a main passage(20) of the valve body. While water flows into the pressure chamber through a first auxiliary passage(24) for a predetermined time, the pressure of the pressure chamber is recovered at different times according to the degree of openness of the main passage. Subsequently, the main passage is closed.
