A drying time control method of a dishwasher is provided to dry tableware in the dishwasher optimally by setting drying time optimally according to the rinsing course, considering heat remaining in the dishwasher by rinsing tableware. A rinsing course is performed(S10), and temperature of a washing tub is measured before draining water(S20). Temperature of the washing tub is compared with the initial drying temperature set according to each rinsing course(S30), and drying time is optimally set according to each course(S40). The operation cycle of a heater is set according to rinsing temperature of each course(S50), and water is drained(S60). Tableware is dried(S70), and a blower fan is driven by a microcomputer(S80). Tableware is dried by periodically turning on and off the heater while driving the blower fan for the predetermined time(S90). The drying course is finished by turning off the blower fan and the heater if a lapse of drying time is conformed(S100,S110). |
