PURPOSE: A scan data upload method of an image forming device and a device are provided to open or obtain data scanned through web server access without scan driver installation or construction of an extra scan data transmission server, thereby increasing user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A scan data upload device scans an article in a scanner(S210). The scan data upload device stores a generated image to a storage device in the scanner or a multifunctional device(S220). A user receives web server authentication through web browser access(S230). The user confirms a scanned document through web server access(S240). The scan data upload device downloads a part of confirmed document to a client device or deletes a part of confirmed document(S250).
