<p>Loose top (2) intended for rotatable loose-top tools and of the type that comprises a centering pin (20) protruding axially rearward from the loose top. Said centering pin comprises two diametrically opposed surfaces (29,33), a first one of which forms a contact surface comprised in an arc angle (±) less than 180°, and the second surface (32a,32b,32c) that is spaced-apart inwardly from the circumscribing circle. By this design of the pin (20), the loose top (2) can be centered in an exceptionally exact way in relation to a co-operating basic body (1).
