A system for measuring bowl swirl in a diesel engine is provided to measure swirl inside a cylinder according to a crank angle in real time. A system for measuring bowl swirl in a diesel engine includes a cylinder head(12) of the diesel engine, a piston(11) which is installed on the bottom of the cylinder head to lift, a shaft(32) which is rotatably installed with vertically penetrating the center of the cylinder head, a paddle wheel(31) which is installed on the bottom of the shaft above the piston and measures an RPM of swirl inside a combustion chamber of the engine, a measuring sensor(34) which is installed on the top of the shaft to be exposed above the cylinder head and measures an angular speed and RPM of the paddle wheel, and an ECU(41) which is connected to the measuring sensor and receives the measurement value from the measuring sensor to control. |
