PURPOSE: A control method for a vehicle equipped with an active air flap is provided to secure proper cooling performance of an engine cooler. CONSTITUTION: A control method for a vehicle equipped with an active air flap is as follows. The temperature of engine cooling water is determined whether in a predetermined level. The air flap is opened when the temperature of an engine cooling water is in the predetermined range. Thermo state is calculated while the active air flap opened. The range of calculation is set in -10 to -55°C. The active air flat is performed to open an active air flat by force.
